Lisa Brem worked for ten years as a research associate at Harvard Business School, creating case studies and teaching notes with Professors V.G. Narayanan, Noam Wasserman, and F. Asis Martinez-Jerez. Since 2011, she has been working to promote the use of innovative technologies and case study method at Harvard Law School, first as the program manager for the Case Studies program, and then as the manager of the Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Solutions group at the HLS Library. She has collaborated with Professors Phil Heymann, Jonathan Zittrain, Holger Spamann, and Adriaan Lanni; the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, and the Program on International Law and Armed Conflict to integrate technology for engagement and to create case studies that meet the specific pedagogical needs of the legal classroom. Last year, she worked with Professor Charles Nesson to craft JuryX: Deliberations for Social Change, an innovative EdX experience that used Unhangout and multimedia case studies to foster online discussion and deliberation.
